We understand that unwanted hair can be a nuisance, and often times traditional hair removal methods such as shaving, waxing, and plucking can be time-consuming, painful, and ineffective. That’s why we offer Laser Hair Removal, a safe and effective way to remove unwanted hair permanently. Now men and women alike are making unwanted facial and body hair a thing of the past – thanks to Laser Hair Removal. No more painful waxing, electrolysis or razors! The laser delivers 21st century technology for treatment of this distressing problem. Cleared for permanent hair reduction, the CLARITY, CLARITY II and the Sciton BBL System can treat men and women of all skin types safely and effectively, year-round. Even patients with a suntan.
The CLARITY and CLARITY II are one of the most versatile dual wavelength platforms on the market for top laser indications aesthetic physicians around the world treat every day. Combining two wavelengths – long pulsed 755 nm Alexandrite and 1064 nm Nd:YAG in one easy-to-use device, we can gently remove pigmented lesions, unwanted hair, wrinkle reduction, and ameliorate the appearance of vascular lesions.
The Nd: Yag system was designed to be the most outstanding laser hair removal system on the market for all skin types, from light to dark, including tanned patients. Its unique design, longer wavelength, and innovative cooling allow extremely effective, safe and permanent results.
Forever Bare BBL from Sciton is a revolutionary technology in hair removal. Traditionally, hair removal devices apply all of their energy to any given area all at once. By sending multiple lower fluence pulses at a high repetition rate, Forever Bare BBL provides a treatment that is safe, fast, efficacious, and comfortable.
Clients should avoid plucking, waxing, or electrolysis for 4-6 weeks prior to treatment. Skin should be clean-shaven and thoroughly cleansed, removing any makeup, creams, oils, topical anesthetics, or self-tanning products before treatment. Avoid skin care products with irritants such as Glycolic Acid or Retin-A on the treatment area for about a week prior to and post-treatment. Do not expose the intended treatment area to sunlight or tanning booth light prior to or immediately after treatment.
Yes, it is important to shave the area to be treated, cleanly and thoroughly, within up to 24 hours prior to your treatment. (the area must be shaved – not waxed, or otherwise removed) If the area isn’t shaved cleanly before your appointment, the laser will singe the hair, possibly resulting in an adverse reaction to your skin. In addition, if the hair hasn’t been shaved properly, treatment will not be as effective, and it may result in small temporary grazes on the top layer of your skin.
● You may experience slight redness, bumps, sunburned sensation/or swelling up to 72 hours. Vitamin E may be applied until the sensation subsides. DO NOT use ice directly on the treated area.
